Screen tearing problem
Have had the same PC for a couple years now, never once experienced screen tearing in any other game, yet it is unstoppable in Sekiro. Tried capping framerate at 60 and messing with V-sync settings in NVIDIA control panel. nothing seems to fix it. anybody know whats going on?

What fixed it for me was to go to the game directory, go to the game itself and right click go to properties and under compatibility check the box to disable fullscreen optimization and apply that

Try your device manager if using windows if its constantly refreshing the problem is there I had the stuttering problem from a Intel Bluetooth program I don't have a Intel I'm using AMD
I disabled that now its working fine, If this does not fix try your USB connections one by one a pain for sure but worth a try.

This just made my game run perfectly after dealing with either tearing or stuttering depending on whether vsync was on. Good stuff thank you!

Quick update to add something I replied to in another thread since the stutters didn't fully disappear:

Turning back on full screen optimization and changing the NVIDIA vsync setting to "fast" finally fixed this for me
