i have been able to play the game for sometime then for no apparent reason i got an error message and the game crashed out since then everytime i try to start the game all i get is a black screen i have uninstalled and re installed but the game still shows a black screen on startup and nothing further?

tried sending an e-mail that steam technical help gave through the support links and it fails to deliver so cannot even e-mail the supplier.....!! anyone out there who has had the same problem and gotten the game working again your help would be greatly appreciated

I have this same issue and I can't seem to resolve it either

i have found now that if you leave it for a while and then try to start the game it sometimes works but can be unstable and you will get an error message and it will crash out or other times it will work okay but if you log out it wont always let you back in again i can only assume the developers have abandoned any support for the game which is why they appear to be unreachable....

has this black screen problem being fixed yet ?

if you use windows virus protection turn off real time protection and then launch.

-Search windows security
-Virus & Threat protection
-Virus & Threat protection settings
-manage settings
-Real-Time protection
-Turn it off

Try this:

Right-click on your game.
Select Properties from the menu.
In the Properties menu, select 'Local Files' from the left-hand panel.
On the Local Files page, select 'Verify integrity of game files'
Steam will then verify your files. ...
Once Steam is finished, a box like this will appear.

That worked for me.

I did this. It didn't work

i have tried the previous post of deactivating the realtime protection and found that it works everytime and then i activate the protection again for me personally i do not think this is a satisfactory solution as it puts your PC temporarily at risk so i cannot advise you wether you should or should not use this method

I have found a method that works. If you go into the files of RHQ find the main config where its an picture of RHQ then open that. It should work.

I also had the same problem, wrote a ticket and they quick answered.
They told me to add the folder "C:\Users\(Your User)\AppData\Local\Temp\stillalive studios GmbH\RHQ\Player\FSX" to the exclusions.

Here´s also the explanation how to add the folder to the exclusions:
- Go to Start > Settings > Update and security > Windows Security > Virus and threat protection.

- Under Virus and threat protection settings, select Manage settings and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.

- Select Add exclusion and then select Files, Folders, File types or Process. The exclusion of a folder also applies to all subfolders within the folder.
