Game not starting anymore
Hey guys,

I have a problem with the game. I installed it yesterday and played for hours without any problems. Today, however, it won't start anymore. I just get a blank screen and the mouse turns into a loading icon. Then when I click at some point it just crashes. Have already tried reinstalling (also to a different partition) and rebooting, to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have now found that if I delete the "Mods" folder from the game directory, the game will start normally. The problem is, without the default "MainMod" I can neither load a savegame nor create a new...

It took a mountain of tinkering with the anti virus software but I finally got it to work by adding all the game folders to the exclusions. I think the AppData\Local\Temp\stillalive studios GmbH\RHQ\Player\FSX folder was ultimately responsible but below is full list that ultimately worked

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RHQ\RHQ.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RHQ\ScriptCompiler\ScriptCompiler.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RHQ
C:\Uses\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\stillalive studios GmbH\RHQ\Player\FSX
C:\Uses\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\stillalive studios GmbH
