I'm a bit mixed on this game but overall I'd say it's a unique experience that's worth a playthrough. Really good music, cool artstyle, very flashy moves, and sound design is off the charts. The backtracking in this game is extremely damn tedious even when you use the skips to make it quicker, some fights gets annoyingly overwhelmed with enemy spam and hard-to-read attacks, each level has a gimmick/puzzle that gets progressively more annoying the further you get (except the graveyard level) and the random enemy encounters can make trying to get through levels a bit of a slog. And on a personal note the combat was somewhat more simple than I was expecting it to be which felt like a letdown. Overall I'd say give it a try and see if you can look past the tedium to enjoy the zany beatdowns.
