When I was in 9th grade, shortly after the Nintendo DS handheld system released, I remember seeing this game and thought, wow be a lawyer, how fun could that be? Well, I was loaned the first game by a friend, and I found it hard to put down. I think this series was my whole personality for a bit. I count it among Pokemon and Mega Man Battle Network as an all-time favorite handheld franchise.

The music is simple but effective, evoking all the proper emotions. The cast of characters is endearing and mostly unforgettable, and the amount of heart, soul, and personality they can convey without any voice acting is incredible. This is a fun visual novel that you can end the day with, scratch your head for a little bit figuring things out, and enjoy the amazing stories with harrowing twists and zany humor. Easy recommend at the typical sale price of $15 USD.

The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a meticulously crafted Visual Novel, which combines exceptional storytelling, well written characters and identification of smart constructed correlations through evidence.
