whats the year one pass do?
what is it
Originalmente postado por Hundinger:
It's just an expansion pack. It contains the two story DLCs.

Good for you that you ask, many people just buy and then complain about not being able to play the main campaign.

These are your options:

Standard edition: main campaign
Year One Pass: the DLCs
Deluxe edition: all of it

All editions contain the multiplayer and the horde mode.

There's a weekly post of someone asking why they can't play the campaign after buying the year one past, so the store page is definitely confusing, I don't see that on other games forums.

Simple: misread the colon for a comma, bingo.

Yes, if people took their time and read more carefully, also look at the prices and think a bit, this wouldn't happen. OP was careful enough to ask at least and since a forum is there to answer questions, I don't know what your problem is.

Might be also that games doesn't usually allow you to buy and play the DLCs without owning the base game.
Steam usually warn you with a purple labels that says "you must own the base game in order to play"
Doom Eternal DLCs aren't labeled as such which could cause the confusion
