I recommend doing it on NG+. even if bosses are harder you got all your gear, I recommend using the rossary that increases your damage by not having flasks left and emptying them before you enter to the boss room just in case

I did it on NG, as my first playthrough, and I would recommend NG instead of NG+.

NG+ bosses kick your ass hard, and when I started an ascended playthrough, with all the beads and prayers already collected and knowing all the enemy patterns, I still struggled with them - and that's with using the flasks. Can't imagine the effort it'd take without the flasks.

Thanks for the tips, I am doing this on NG at the moment, but as I saw if you can't beat 1-2 (mid-game) bosses under NG, but you do that specific boss under NG+, you can still get the achievement. For example: Esdras was quite a challenge compared to the previous bosses without flasks....So if someone is struggling really hard with Esdras, may be better to beat him under NG+. On the other hand since endgame bosses are really hardcore, I will try to do them under NG ANYWAY.

I am not sure about this, cause I saw the same, but on the other hand saw someone on a forum who mentioned that missed the procedure on the third boss and after going to NG+ and killing the third boss got the achiemevent (bottom comment):

Something I noticed made bosses easier (i.e. hit for less damage) was taking the Bleeding Heart penitence on NG+ (side effect, feels like normal enemies can hit harder, since everything does exactly one pip of damage) also using other means to heal are good, Saeta Dolorosa prayer specifically, and most bosses are weak to Tiento to your Thorned Hairs spam

I did it on NG+ with unwavering faith and it was actually a cake walk. Just equip all the prayer related beads and the mea culpa heart and you can really melt them if you pick the right prayers.
I started using the noxious gas one when I got to Crisanta since she recovers too fast to hit her with most prayers and that thing will melt anyone you stand near. I first tried every Amanecida using it and even killed the last one so fast I skipped the final phase
