Buy it on GOG, support CD Projekt Red.
GOG is fully owned by CDPR, and the company is fully responsible for Witcher Series and upcoming Most Anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.

They ( GOG ) support non-drm games & completely against drm's. Which means you bought the game it's yours, no need of extra mess like game activation, login platforms like other Steam / Uplay / Origin / sh&*ty Epic Store.

Money is yours and so the game is too, you don't need permission to play your own games.

It's right. Gog is a nice plateform which respect the gamer. (no DRM mess)

I always try to get games on GOG when it is possible.

No thanks, I rather not have my game anywhere else but on Steam.

Because you don't like owning your game outright, versus only buying a right to play it?

Bought Dreamfall Chapters (and both The Longest Journey games) on GOG, and was happy with my purchase, so even if I don't get this right away (they're competing with SpellForce III Soul Harves, and the loyalty discount for owning the main game) the fact that it's available there has this on my list where it wouldn't be were it a Steam exclusive.

Shame Dontnod (Square Enix), Quantic Dream, and Skybound can't figure that out...

Much cheaper on Steam for me unfortunately, else I would jump on gog

It is fine, forcing to buy on specific place to anyone is not a good thing.

But i will recommend to give priority to GOG.

If you want to get it on Steam, that's okay but if your friends can afford it on GOG then spread this word buddy :-)

Same, actually GOG don't have regional pricing in countries, because of it's small reach.

Maybe if players support it, it can expand to more bigger level.

GOG is very pro-consumer.

Yeah, I'm willing to pay more for a GOG release, how much more depends on the game.

Yea, GOG is cool, everyone knows that. You can buy games there. That's cool.
Remind me again why you post this on the steam forum of the game though.
I prefer my games on Steam and here is the forum for the game on Steam. GOG also has its own game forums.

The shout out looks strange on Steam forums. Also there is a way to buy games both on Steam (to play) and on GOG (for backup and for playing many years into the future).
grody_antagonic 29 May, 2019 @ 12:35pm
for "backup". ok. Yea, you can backup games on steam too. If it doesn't use extra DRM, you can also just pack your game and store it wherever you want for "backup". GOG has a higher chance of going down one day than steam. Just saying. Where do you strange folks come from anyway? Are you the new GOG advertisement group on Steam? Remember where you are please and respect it. You are not on GOG here. Please advertise somewhere else.

How many games on Steam you know which you can launch without launching steam first? I only recall some shootemups not using "steam drm" at all.

That "play many years in future" is fear of steam shutting down one day so you loos all those games.

_

Still, i'm totally agree about YIKES WHAT ARE THOSE GOG SECTANTS HERE JUST LIKE NINTENDO FANATICS

:D
