Message to our Founders re: player numbers and our future plans
To our Founders:

DL: Bad Blood is Techland’s first Early Access title. It was always our plan to evolve the game in cooperation with our Founders. We knew that the player pool may be small to begin with. But we wanted the most dedicated Dying Light players to be the first to have their say.

It’s only been a few weeks since we released DL:BB and already we have a good idea of what we need to do. That’s in part thanks to the quality and the clarity of the feedback we’ve been getting from our Founders.

Right now there are enough active players so that finding matches shouldn’t be a problem in most regions. We expect new players to join now that we've add Russian and Chinese language support. Yesterday's patch also has measures to improve matchmaking. For example, we found that some players were starting Casual mode and wondering why it wouldn’t connect, so we’re renaming it to Private mode to make that clearer.

What’s more we’re working hard to bring what our Founders are telling us they want to see. If you’ve followed Dying Light over the years then you’ll know that supporting our games is a big deal for us.

The way we see it, our current player base is a small but strong foundation to build something really special. It’s not a race for us. All great oaks start life as acorns.

You see this guys? Especially the ones criticizing this game? This is the kind of support you don't really get from other devs. Some of us know this Early Access isn't about money, yet we were happy to pay full price for it. Thanks to the cooperation we have here between players and developers, you will get a much better game once it goes F2P.

I've paid that 20 bucks, which in my country isn't just a few beers worth. Yet, I haven't regretted a single penny of it. And I'm sure I won't either in the future, because this game can only get better from here. After reading this message, I knew I put my money in the right place.

So, to the people wishing this game to go F2P, I'm saying this before it actually goes F2P: You're welcome.

I'm... Genuinely tired of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ argument, refer to my other posts. I'm going back to playing. Techland if these accounts keep up this please ban them with maybe a global unban when you release F2P, it's not helpful to the people that are interested in this game, it fills up the discussion boards and it stresses me the ♥♥♥♥ out, I doubt I'm the only one tired of this argument.

stop getting so heated over these things, see something against the steam community terms such as harrassment to a particular person or party? report them and move on does nothing but encourage it even more, also people can voice their opinions, it's their right.

Techland, thank you for all of the amazing communication you've had with your community, I personally would love to see the team working on bad blood in one way or the other, whether that be a video or simply a list of all the team members.

It's also our right to point out how their 'voicing' is harmful to the community, both situations are free speech so that is not an argument point. But yes I am glad Techland finally put a foot down.

I really like this game so far. The idea of a fast and intese battle royal is nice. But maybe you can do something to make the founders pack more attractive to buy with small changes and benefits, so it doesn´t feel like just a early access donation. Especially since the cosmetics are quite expensive and you don´t get far with the blood bucks.

Another thing is the feeling of proggression in general. The rewards for winning and leveling up are very minor. Maybe up the rewards so players can buy or get "treats" more frequently and stay motivated, because the are just about to unlock the next cool skin. This is often what keeps other online games going.

This is just a suggestion to add a kind of drive to keep the players going and maybe attract new ones. Progression and rewards feel a bit weak compared to other games and this is what kinda stops me after a few rounds that were a lot of fun.

Trying way too hard to be entitled here. Bad Blood isn't the first F2P game to have a "paid closed beta" with "founders" perks.

hello mr developers, i got a suggestion that me and my friends were talking about. you should add a bot type of match that doesn't give you xp but its just for training, it would we awesome.

For now you can just go into a Private match and practice with your friends that way

My biggest thing right now is wanting to be able to cancel a power swing. That way I don't have to waste stamina and the time it takes to swing.
