Green could have bought me out, yet it waited for me to buy it out. (It had 1 share more of me than I had of it, and it was ahead a little more than one share worth in cash on hand while I was getting very close to buy them out.)

I rushed ahead by selling some shares to get ahead in the cash, once I was in reach of buying them, but they could have done the same (and probably did not even need it, considering that they owned 10% more of me than I of them, they should have already been in range (the game isn't showing the different buyout values that others have of me - as it depends on how much they already own. Also they even would have more other AI shares than me to liquidate.)

After that Red was left with 10 million cash on hand, while 4 of my shares had suddenly become available: they could have then and there bought those and gotten to 50%, while I only owned 40% of them, and would have still been 4+ million ahead in cash on hand for the final battle ahead...


In other words: 2 different AI could have won at two different times. Ok, I admit the last one was after 1970, which means the game was "technically" over, but still: if I decide to "Continue playing", I would assume that the AI still tries to buy me out.

Is there an RPG reason in the "Character" of the AIs responsible for this, or the fact that I am not playing on the hardest difficulty?

Can I please have the most intelligent AI, but without having to deal with malus on my selling prizes and upkeeps and stuff? Revolutionary idea, I know... - play a fair game against the most intelligent AI, vs playing an unfair game vs an AI that is letting me win. Don't tell me, that the AI can't check wether it can buy me out in a split second...
