because tomb raider wasnt really much about the combat. many complained about how much combat was i the previous titles, which was true. this title felt more of a raider title. you still have some good combat moments and you can go most of the time guns blazing in, but this isnt the focus.

bruh, tomb raider is literally all about raiding effing tombs?? if you want combat then play games like cod or something idk

no, if you played previous tomb raiders its not about only raiding tombs, it should be raiding tombs combined with combat. This game is only raiding tombs, too many tombs and puzzles, u get tired of them at some point and wanna do some stealth action too, which barely happens, i'll give it a 7/10 .

if you mean previous as in reboot, they are sadly very action driven. if you would have played the original or even the LAU titles, the combat isnt this heavy either.

comparing to previous games, well maybe, but lore wise she's just a young archeologist and not a killer. Remember when in TR(2013) she killed her "first" enemy? She was terrified and guilty. Murdering hundreds of enemies just isn't Lara. So I actually enjoyed this game the most

Why would you want more combat? The combat in this game is AWFUL to say the least... Not to mention how bad the stealth is too

The game is about exploring and doing puzzles - probably the best aspects of the game. If you came to this game for combat - Sorry to say.

The game is called Tomb Raider for a reason. Its about exploring tombs, who would have thought.

try complete game on deadly obsession difficulty, its not really hard but more interesting

Yup and thats why this is the best game in the reboot trilogy.
The other 2 are just mediocre Uncharted clones, this is the first in a long time the series is actually about tombs, puzzles and climbing and rare combat, like the original.

Play any of the LAU titles or now even a remaster version of the original 3 games. Then you will see why many of us complain about the combat. Why shadow is more tomb aimed because that's what it should be about.

yes, i think the ones before were better having more combat than exploring, in my case, this is a downgrade to the path they had before. I coudlnt finish the game. I reached the last map and i said to myself, i have to go through all that an explore ♥♥♥♥? ♥♥♥♥ this, and i unninstalled the game when i was 80% completed. I need some action too.
