Blindness Bug

Across several maps I seem to be triggering some sort of blindness bug. With the lighthouse it's the stairs, and with Camp Woodwind it seems to be with the barrier between the truck and the gate. When it happens it darkens my screen to the point I can no longer navigate, see objects, etc. I've taken some screenshots to showcase what I'm seeing and no it doesn't fix when I enter the van. It will fix when we leave the bugged map and then start a new contract. I don't need to leave the game.

I am experiencing the same problem as well. I verified my files and it didn't help at all.

In the bug forums someone mentioned about 'eye adaptation' and to turn that off but I've also done so and this doesn't work for me either. It's not often that the glitch happens (I can have completely normal games) and it's impossible to track what's causing it. Both my friends don't seem to have the issue.
