Everyone's progress reset. There are now tiered items and a prestige system as well as properly scaling leveling instead of just 100 xp per level. I'm not sure what you mean by "the sign by ghost huntin distribution" but the number is probably your level before the update. You should also be prestige 1 since you played before the major update, so you already have all maps and difficulties unlocked.

If you are talking about the plaque by the staircase in the start menu, i believe this is to reflect the level you were prior to the progress wipe. I think its cool the devs show appreciation to us OGs who put in mad hours.
