The latest patch appears to have fixed an issue for Intel chipsets but has broken Steamdeck compatibility. To fix it click on the cog/properties for the game and under Betas change the Beta Participation to perviousversion. That will take the game back to prior to the latest patch which only fixed Intel issues anyway and makes the game playable again on Steamdeck.

I tried a few different proton versions but they’re all the same regards to this error.
