What is this thread?

If you're new around here, this is where the forum regulars hang out and have discussions. It's a great source of news, fun, and just general conversation. Come in and make a few friends, as long as you don't spam or troll.

I'm not actually here to run this place anymore, so the thread hasn't been updated since 9/7/2021. Feel free to hang out here or find and join the Hype Wanted discord server, you've got a great community here.

Religion / Politics
This is actually a lot more than a Soft Ban, as it's against the Steam Guidelines. I doubt anyone's going to come after you if it's a one-off post every now and then, as long as it doesn't start any arguments.

War-related Stuff
It's just depressing to see things about war. The only time this is permitted, is if it's an emergency thing such as if a world war happens to break out without us knowing about it. I understand some of you may know people in the military, but it's still just too touchy.

Freddit Negativity
Even if you have beef with Freddit (r/fivenightstafreddys community) or you believe a user is being dumb or irrational, do not bring it here. You can freely inform people of posts you think are interesting or should be criticized, but don't state your own opinion unless it comes up naturally in the conversation and isn't calling the post or user in question insults.

Think Chum Bucket Lab in BFBB. You need spatulas to get in, like any other level, so therefore it's a level, no?

A normal teenage boy was walking home one day. He had been at a party, and it was getting late. He had decided to walk, so he could collect his thoughts. However, that's when he saw it; a man carrying a large box. The man kneeled down and opened it on the sidewalk, revealing a plethora of weapons and documents. Much to the boy's dismay, the man pulled out a knife, and began walking towards a building, clearly in murderous intent.

He quickly ran across the street, and yelled.

[???:] "Hey! Put the knife down!"

[???:] "Huh? Who the heck are you!?"

He whirled around, pointing the knife at the teenager before him. It was more than obvious he was out to kill now. Catching his breath, he spoke again:

[???:] "Y-You're not killing anyone on my watch!"

[???:] "...Well, how about off your watch, then, kid? I suggest you run. I'm a dangerous man."

Against his better judgement, the boy ran up and kicked the man in his most vulnerable spot, causing him to keel over and drop the knife.

[???:] "Grrr... Dumb brat, I'll sue!"

The rest was a blur for the boy. The next thing he knew, he was tried against, and the man won, sending him out of town, and to Texas to live with a foster. He was labeled a delinquent, and had to transfer schools and everything. He solemnly looked into his reflection.

His name was Maddux. He had done everything right.. hadn't he? He wasn't sure anymore, but he didn't regret his decision. The bus pulled up in front of an alley. He knew where he had to go, and he got off.

[Maddux:] "...Final destination, I guess."

He wandered down the pavement, scanning the shady buildings lining the wall. Eventually, he took a turn and saw his new home. It was a run-down cafe; the owner was a friend of his parents', and it was decided he'd be the best option.

Not seeing any lights on, he turned to an approaching delivery man to ask a question.

[Maddux:] "E-Excuse me? Is this Ender's cafe?"

[Delivery Guy:] "...Yeah. It's almost time for him to open up, so if you want to talk to him, just wait around for a bit."

[Maddux:] "...Alright."

Super Hub World 64: DK Isle - Episode 8

After defeating King Kut Out and retrieving the seventh Boss Key, return to DK Isle.

You know what to do at this point. Go to K. Lumsy, 7th lock is off, tremors, you know the cycle.

This time, the tremors will break open a large security door at the very top of K. Rool's Mobile Island Fortress.

As Tiny Kong, climb to the top of the ship and reach the big door. Go ahead and step inside.

Inside is a large lava pit. Make your way across to reach a giant secure door. The security lock needs 100 Golden Bananas in order to be overridden. If you have enough, show it to the scanner and the door will open.

Step inside to enter the ultimate base of Hideout Helm.
