What is this thread?

If you're new around here, this is where the forum regulars hang out and have discussions. It's a great source of news, fun, and just general conversation. Come in and make a few friends, as long as you don't spam or troll.

I'm not actually here to run this place anymore, so the thread hasn't been updated since 9/7/2021. Feel free to hang out here or find and join the Hype Wanted discord server, you've got a great community here.

Religion / Politics
This is actually a lot more than a Soft Ban, as it's against the Steam Guidelines. I doubt anyone's going to come after you if it's a one-off post every now and then, as long as it doesn't start any arguments.

War-related Stuff
It's just depressing to see things about war. The only time this is permitted, is if it's an emergency thing such as if a world war happens to break out without us knowing about it. I understand some of you may know people in the military, but it's still just too touchy.

Freddit Negativity
Even if you have beef with Freddit (r/fivenightstafreddys community) or you believe a user is being dumb or irrational, do not bring it here. You can freely inform people of posts you think are interesting or should be criticized, but don't state your own opinion unless it comes up naturally in the conversation and isn't calling the post or user in question insults.

Ship's Log - About 10.5 AU from Destination, Day 6 of Travel

Junior is doing well for his first mission. He's really excited that he gets to go along with me. Thankfully, the planet we're heading to is not dangerous at all - Hence why I chose him for this mission specifically. At the rate we're going, we should arrive in only three days! Right now Bonnie's giving him a tour in the engine room, teaching him all the ins and outs. By radio, he told me that Junior seems FASCINATED, which makes me so happy. I was afraid he'd hit a rebellious phase and not want to join the force.

Ship's Log - 6.8 AU from Destination, Day 7 of Travel

Junior surprised me today. I quizzed him on some constellations we passed and he was able to name every single one of them, including one I never even knew myself! That kid is bright, and I just know he'll be a great captain one day. Oh, and another thing, the ship's radar is picking up a weird signal nearby. Just thought I should report it in case something goes horribly wrong and we all end up missing. That'll never happen though. Not with my crew.

Ship's Log - 3.3 AU from Destination, Day 8 of Travel

We are so close to our destination. If all goes well, we'll land, deliver the cargo, and cruise on home to collect the payment. Junior practically knows how to fly the thing; he's piloting us right now while I write this. Not to worry; he's still under my watch, plus the ship told me it'd turn on the autopilot if any mistakes were made. He's doing real good though. I'm so proud...

Ship's Log - ?? AU from Destination, Day 9 of Travel

Um, this is Junior... I woke up today and couldn't find my Dad anywhere! He's not anywhere on the ship - I asked everyone. I even told the ship to run a camera check, and he just vanished in the middle of the night, and now there's a weird electric patch thing in his room on the wall. Someone must have taken him in his sleep!

[Junior:] "Alright, I-I logged it..."

[Foxy:] "Aye, it be the best we can do at this second, lad. We'll drop off the cargo, and then our top priority'll be to track him down! He be the best captain I ever did see..."

[Chica:] "That's right! We won't let ANYONE take Freddy!"

Junior smiled weakly and made sure the Autopilot was working properly before standing up. He moved to one of the large windows on the sides of the control room, watching the stars as they raced by.

[Junior:] We'll find you, Dad. Wherever you are... Hang in there.

Bonnie came up and put his hand on Junior's shoulder, as if trying to comfort him.
