Currently have 50 hrs so far and I would say yes give it a try. Still have fun.
You can try three characters in their 1st chapter in the Demo.

IF you are not from the previous game and can take the "open world" from KOEI it is OK.
You probably not going to like it if you are from the previous title since there are missing elements.

A big thumb up (to me) is you can define the BGM in your hideout with prevous Dynasty Warriors game.

I brought it i've played all dynasty warriors games 3-8 and spin offs such as samurai warriors. I like how they tried to experiment if only they didnt half ass it Orgins seems to be doing better. but yeah for discount im ok with it full price i'd be pissed.

i juz bought it too, I think they fixed the bugs that mentioned in some earlier comments, till now I personally think it's worth to buy, I really enjoy the open world!

Yes. It’s one of the only games I’ve platinumed on PlayStation and have just picked it up in the sale to do it all again on my Steam Deck. It’s my favourite DW game because I love the open world and the soundtrack particularly. I’d wait for a sale though if you’re not sure.
