Good to know, I was just reading a post that was at the top stating that the game just crashes, looks like they had AMD cards however
Also, I heard that it happens when you are using IGPU (intel or AMD). Sadly, I only have AMD IGPU on my system. I also heard I need to downgrade my AMD Driver, which isn't an option. I think I might try to see if there are settings that will fix this problem.
Good luck, I have intel and Nvidia myself. I was looking at the series included and I'm more of a UC guy myself save for IBO. So I may hold off based on that. But I hope you get it to run.
However, sometimes your PC is just too slow on some screen and the game detects that and crashes. But I did find out that it didn't crash in most of the fighting scenes after you disable the FPS limit. In fact, in one of the fighting scenes with "Gundam Astray Red Frame Red Dragon" (the limit-off), my game will keep crashing until I disable the FPS control.
At least, in my case, it seems like the FPS control/limitation things is the one that crash my game.
You are very lucky. In fact, I saw a lot of people who didn't have a problem when using the Nvidia graphic card.
My laptop is using AMD 6800u and AMD Radeon 680m to play this game. Except for crashing in some scenes and the beginning/ending of some stages, there is no other problem at all.
So, I just take out my dusty 10+ years old laptop that has a GTX 860m. The results? No issue at all. No matter what I do that would normally crash on Radeon 680m, it is not crashing at all. I think I might play this game on my old laptop instead.
I also heard a lot of people who have issues conclude that the game has a problem with AMD cards/chips. So, switching to an Intel chip and Nvidia card does fix the issue for me.
It is not weird. You can even see a lot of people who have crashed in the game on this Steam discussion page. It is not new and happens to a lot of people. If you look up Reddit or GameFAQs you can also see people still having this issue.
Also, did you use Nvidia GPU or AMD's iGPU? It would help us exclude some of the possible causes of the crash.
