Looking to buy, does this game have crashing issues still?
Read in some reviews a while back and saw this game was having a lot of crashing issues. Is that still the case. I will be playing on PC primairly.

Have an 19-13900k, 4070ti if hardware makes a difference in the crashing.

Thank you.

Good to know, I was just reading a post that was at the top stating that the game just crashes, looks like they had AMD cards however

I only use Intel/Nvidia in my systems for many years now and often see people complaining about crashes in games in which I never have issues of any kind.

I only remember having some crashes when making series of way too quick inputs with mouse or keyboard. It's a game made with a controller in mind after all. Nowadays I have a "feel" how fast I can efficiently input commands for my warship/raid teams.

Just bought this game. I crash about 3 times in each mission. The beginning, between phases, and when the mission ends. Now I need to keep saving to make sure I don't have to repeat the last turn again.

Also, I heard that it happens when you are using IGPU (intel or AMD). Sadly, I only have AMD IGPU on my system. I also heard I need to downgrade my AMD Driver, which isn't an option. I think I might try to see if there are settings that will fix this problem.

Good luck, I have intel and Nvidia myself. I was looking at the series included and I'm more of a UC guy myself save for IBO. So I may hold off based on that. But I hope you get it to run.

I have a 6700xt and it crashes constantly, it was working before the 1.60 patches and also I had a rx 480 and it worked before... Bandai Namco, please give us the ability to roll back to previous versions or get it fixed please...

After some fiddling with settings. I found that the game didn't like V-sync or any kind of frame rate limitation. If you disable them, the game is far more stable and crashes less often.

However, sometimes your PC is just too slow on some screen and the game detects that and crashes. But I did find out that it didn't crash in most of the fighting scenes after you disable the FPS limit. In fact, in one of the fighting scenes with "Gundam Astray Red Frame Red Dragon" (the limit-off), my game will keep crashing until I disable the FPS control.

At least, in my case, it seems like the FPS control/limitation things is the one that crash my game.

You are very lucky. In fact, I saw a lot of people who didn't have a problem when using the Nvidia graphic card.

My laptop is using AMD 6800u and AMD Radeon 680m to play this game. Except for crashing in some scenes and the beginning/ending of some stages, there is no other problem at all.

I'm very late to this. 300+ hours, I think I've had one crash. Ran this on a GTX 1070 windows 10, now running on Linux (Debian) with a 6700xt still no issues. Overall pretty solid.

An update to the crash. Yeah, it i still crashing on my Radeon 680m. No matter what setting for the game, the settings for my graphic card or even relevant BIOS settings can fix this issue.

So, I just take out my dusty 10+ years old laptop that has a GTX 860m. The results? No issue at all. No matter what I do that would normally crash on Radeon 680m, it is not crashing at all. I think I might play this game on my old laptop instead.

I also heard a lot of people who have issues conclude that the game has a problem with AMD cards/chips. So, switching to an Intel chip and Nvidia card does fix the issue for me.

Never had a crash and I've played with 3 GPUs too, used an NVIDIA 1050ti, 1660 and 3060.

It is not weird. You can even see a lot of people who have crashed in the game on this Steam discussion page. It is not new and happens to a lot of people. If you look up Reddit or GameFAQs you can also see people still having this issue.

Also, did you use Nvidia GPU or AMD's iGPU? It would help us exclude some of the possible causes of the crash.
