Golden Scorpitron

I found this mob, or did it find me, for the first time after 5 playthroughs. Does something specifically trigger it? It was the second time on Ranger difficulty for me.
A post said once you enter Yuma Raceway talk to the mechanic and leave for Colorado it will show, but over 2 hours of driving in the easter plains, up around Denver and the Bizaar didnt see it.

You probably just drove at the very specific hidden location that triggers it by chance. If you remember where it was on the colorado map you should be able to get it every game going forward. I don't remember stumbling upon it myself and I'm like 15 playthroughs in lol.

Thanks for the link. Another guide says to head directly south from the ambush site and its at a grove of trees.

FOUND IT. When you are at Yuma Raceway entrance head west and follow the building outlines. When I headed south on the side It was triggered. Confirmed location a second time.
