short arms can not reach pottery
I would love to play the game but I can not for the life of me reach the pottery to shape it. I have tried different setups but I can not reach the wheel, I am not sure what to do. I am about 5feet 4 inches but it feels like my character is to far away.

Hold your teleport button (forward haptic pad on Vive wand. I don't know on other controllers) and aim at the throwing wheel till the wheel has a yellow outline then teleport. It will put the wheel almost right in your lap. If for some reason you are still a little too far away then slide your real world chair forward.

thanks I wrote this and exited the game for a bit and tried again and it worked must have been a bug with my headset/the way I opened the game
