Iron Moth and Northwind show different equip loads for the same equipment. The Woodpecker 2 weighs 5, but on Iron Motth it's 4 and on Northwind it's 5. Red Hound 1 weighs 5, and it's 5 on the Iron Moth, but 6 for Northwind. What's going on?

I have 3 captains & 5 ships. How do I get more captains so I can have more than 3 ships? You start with 2, I gained 1, not sure when I gain a 4th though. Does it have to do with any of your current captains stats or level or where do you got to be in the game to have a 4th captain? I am playing this on the switch version. Progression is getting nearly impossible with just 3 ships on my team. I need another captain. I am using this forum because there is no forum on the switch version of the game.My captain...
