I got this game on a friend's recommendation, having ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hooked on the franchise while playing with friends. However, I can't honestly suggest it to anyone.

The fights are way too easy, and they oversimplify all the gameplay. If you've spent time mastering combos in any chapter of BlazBlue and then play this, it feels off. You go from "I need a master’s degree and taking notes to learn to play this" to "mashing buttons is the key." The online mode is completely dead, meaning no one plays this game at all.

Overall, the basic idea wasn't bad, but it was just badly executed. The game is presented poorly , no introductions, no movies/shortcuts, or ultra-fancy menu like in GG Strive, no special effects, nothing. To be honest, I think it wouldn't be hard to make this game better. They just needed to add the usual ultra-complicated gameplay mechanics that we are used to, make the fights last longer maybe with double or triple life points for characters. Remove the initial room with a controllable miniaturized version of Ragna, put in a custom menu, and put more effort into making the interface better and adding more game modes too.

It's a shame it had so much potential with all these characters. If you add on top that they just used the assets from other games, it makes things even worse. The game might still be fun if you play it with a real-life friend, but I don't feel like giving a positive review. It has way too many things badly done. The only positive thing is that I got it for ultra cheap.
