New Arc Line

Take a stand in the eternal conflict between Arcane Magic and Steampunk Revolution and tip the uneasy balance between sorcery, elves, dwarves and mysterious monsters on one side and steampunk gadgets, zeppelins, and tesla guns on the other in this single-player, party-based, story-rich RPG.

In the demo, you will be thrown right into the middle of a deadly epidemic of the Iron Plague - select from 2 classes and play as either a Voodoo Shaman or a Diesel Engineer of either the Human or Elven race, and investigate what's going on in the Leprosarium; a hospital specializing in treating patients in the Slums district suffering from the horrific disease. With several ways of completing the quest and moral decisions to make along the way, will you rise to the occasion?

Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond

Prove your political brilliance in a grand strategy like no other: pick any contemporary country, set up your government and navigate the pitfalls of domestic and international politics. A glorious destiny awaits - the domination of not just the Earth, but the whole Solar system!

The demo will allow you to govern either Germany or Mexico, and you will have 5 in-game years to show off your cunning leadership skills in the new, extreme Overdrive mode. At launch, any contemporary nation will be available for your ambitions, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everything in between, and you will be able to enjoy different campaign modes to boot!

VED

VED is a story-driven, hand-drawn RPG with a unique turn-based combat system and roguelite elements. Set in two different worlds, VED tells the story of Cyrus, a young hero who sets out on a quest to become a master of sword and magic, and save everything he knows from destruction.

The demo will let you sneak a peek at a very early part of the game's story - just enough to whet your appetite, but with no significant spoilers!

Then there's the flipper and drowning thing

I had to look it up because there is no information in-game. Just, some of your units have a flipper, and some don't. What does that mean? Well, the game conceals that from you. Since I don't want to be as bad as the devs, I will tell you: Units with a flipper can swim; units without, cannot swim. Just throw them in the trash can where they belong. Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark - What an odd game...
I almost feel bad reviewing it, but it has to be done. I'll be honest.

Price: This is a very expensive game. $30 just for the base game and there are DLCs to buy besides it. At that price, you expect high quality, right? Well, it's not.

Art Style:
- Character animations are limited to 3 frames—janky and terrible.
- Portraits are well-drawn, but the in-game models are ugly and don’t match the portraits at all.
- The world map is a confusing mix of pixel art and 3D, clashing horribly.
- The blend of 3D scenery, 2D art, and pixel art feels disjointed, as if many different people worked on it without cohesion.

A Copy of FF Tactics:
This game tries hard to be Final Fantasy Tactics but fails. FFT had consistent art, gameplay, and originality. Here, everything feels like a Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V job—even the skills are similar.

Originality: None. Classes, clothing, and scenery are all copied with slight tweaks to avoid copyright issues.

Story: A bland, overdone trope about pseudo "chosen ones" and a spoiled noble. It’s a cliché no one can stand anymore.

Verdict:
This game doesn’t respect players. It’s overpriced, generic, and poorly made. I’d value it at $5, and only buy it on sale for $2.50 max.
Misleading reviews and store videos fooled me. Too bad I tried it too late to refund.

Enemy spell range

Most of the time, I see enemies using spells at the proper ranges, but in a couple battles, when enemies had Concentration, which is supposed to only give +20% chance to hit, they were able to use spells from 10-11 tiles away, despite Bleed, and Earth II having ranges of 0-3 and 0-5 respectfully. (Their other abilities didn't seem to affect it, just things like mana font, smart casting, counter attack) Does Concentration actually have a hidden effect of increasing spell range, or is there some weird inter...

Is the beginning of the game still oppressively unbalanced?

Bought this game years ago, but painfully remember that the beginning of the game is just... absolutely atrocious in terms of difficulty. Has this been resolved, so that you aren't effectively scraping by your first battles with half your army dead no matter what you do? EDIT: Thinking more on it, I think one of the core reasons for this was that you don't start with a healer or any recovery methods at the start? At least, I seem to recall that being a thing back then (still?)....

Saves randomly reverted to years old game.

I started playing the game again last month and I was surprised to see there was no save data for it. I started a new game and just finished the Ancient Path. The next day I went to log in and the game was level 24 (I was level 70 in the Ancient Path) and I did not recognize characters. I assume this is my old save data that suddenly overwrote my current game. I am guessing I am SOL for my data? I am not aware of any back up and I have no idea where it suddenly reverted. Hello Arbiters!

It's been a while since we've had some news to share, but we're excited to finally announce our new game, Pathbreakers: Roaming Blades!

As a quick summary, it's a turn-based tactical RPG, with a focus on trading, exploring and tactical battles. It'll have multiple origin stories, classes and a procedurally generated world, so expect a lot of replay value.

I would recommend this game. In fact, I'm reinstalling it because I have 68.9 hours played when I was recommending this game to other friends.

Edit: Whew, I feel much better now. I'd recommend this game for many reasons, though mainly I cared enough about my playtime to have some fun factor here nearly a year later after starting up New Game+ to review my guys.

As someone who was a massive fan of the FF Tactics games, I found this to be another helping of many of the same things that I loved about those games. A customizable army of awesome characters, thoughtful and engaging tactical combat, and a wide array of interesting classes that can be combined with one another to strategize more effectively. There are a few gripes worth mentioning that may put off some; the story was mediocre at best (but truthfully far below average when compared to the wealth of amazing story-driven games nowadays), the progression system is not very intuitive (especially when it comes to unlocking classes for any given character), and some enemies were just straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Despite all of that, I did see the credits roll on this one, and it definitely scratched that FF Tactics itch that I have had for many years now. Also, highly recommend this one on the SteamDeck if you have one; makes for a fun on-the-go game that you can kind of thrown on intermittently.
