I like whats here so far as well. Nicely done. But I gotta say, the missions you have right now can easilly be co oped. Looking forward to Co op once you have added it.

You must be a developer. What games have you developed?

What`s your point? Myself and some friends have done some missions, and with such huge maps and many A.I. protagonists, we coul;d easilly and comfortably see ourselves Co oping these missions. And it`d be amazing immersive SpecOps fun. You don`t need to be a Dev to see this. All Helios is missing is the Co op Multiplayer Code. lol

Helios has already mentioned that a Co op Mode might be added.... later. That would be fantastic if the the time comes. many are looking forward to it. So, you were saying? ;p

The point is you have no understanding of what it would take to convert this game to coop. First off, you will need a complete lobby system. Then either text chat and/or voice chat with language support. Then you need to create players in the game, change the balance of the game if 1 player, if 2 players. if 3 players, it 4 players. Add drop in coop with AI players to fill the game. Then you would need to change the HUD to support coop. Then completely redo the scoring system and screens. Then completely create PvP. And your comment is "easilly be co oped". Even with all that, it wouldn't compete with Insurgency.

But the argument "don't criticize x because you can't do it either" is just plain... well, sorry to say, but it's kinda dumb (English is not my first language and I couldn't think of a less offensive word). If that were true you couldn't criticize any music band or sports-team or handyman or Nascar driver or youtube channel or... ;)

I think he means from a "gaming-standpoint" - he can easily see this game being coop. He can't see Tetris for example being coop.

And you are on the other hand right by saying that it's not like flipping a switch and then there's magically coop in the game. You see it from a "developer-standpoint".


BUT: "You must be a developer. What games have you developed?" is in my opinion just a bad statement.
IMHO you should never say to someone who criticizes anything, "well, can you do it better?", because EVERYBODY criticizes stuff that they themselves can't do better.

Think of your favourite sports team. You can criticize them when they're playing bad, but can you play better?
Or you see a crooked built house and think, the people who built this are idiots, but can you build a house?
Or you listen to a bad streetmusician who just can't sing. Aren't you allowed to say, that he can't sing just because you can't either?
