Usually people who have played the game, are old enough, and dont have enough time on their hand to do things like these. Probably just fortnite kids following the trend.

Some other Deus Ex fans are replying to these kids with Deus Ex jokes/references but it seems like these Zoomers don't get them. I'm being optimistic here, but I hope that this meme will get more of these kids playing Deus Ex like with MaximilianMus.

I find it cool, to be honest. It makes the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century the immortal that he is.

I noticed this trend too. Its a silly meme and i dont really like that Fortnite kiddos are co-opting the image of this iconic video game character. I guess i should be glad that Deus Ex is still relevant today even to the younger generation but it seems pretty clear to me that they barely know the character and are unlikely to be interested in playing the game...
