The first time I opened the game, there was a dialog box asking me to connect to Facebook. There were two buttons: a Facebook icon and an "OK" button. I clicked the "OK" button hoping it would skip connecting me to Facebook, because I don't want to do that. The game appeared to have suddenly quit.

The Steam client said it was still running even though the "Play" button was available. I checked task manager but didn't see a process for the game. I exited Steam, and when I reopened it Steam showed that the game was still running, but there was no visible UI or window for it.

I went back into task manager and dug around in the background processes. I had trouble finding what I was looking for, so I checked the game files folder. I saw that the .exe was called "ffc.exe", looked for that in task manager and was able to finally quit the game.

Now when I open the game, I don't get a dialog box asking me about Facebook and at least as far as the menu, everything seems fine.

So if anyone is having trouble quitting the game, look for "ffc.exe" in the background processes of task manager and try quitting that.
