I can totally see that. Maybe the dev will flesh out the Brittany story line more in the future.
In the interim, try the England/Scotland branch of the story. I finally finished it today and got Ending 10, and I think the story and characters are much more satisfying than the Brittany/Desert branch.
Come on devs give a way for a high affection main character to sweet talk her out of this or at least make Olivia try to seduce the main character out of telling anyone about her "hobbies".
Shes a comminted cultist and has done a bunch of shady ♥♥♥♥ already.
But its very unlcear how to try and stop her or out her or side against her.
I first chose to "confront her about it" thinking there would be a conversation with her but instead the main character goes to some other noble to report her and arrest her.
That's not what I wanted to do so I killed the game, restarted and decided to just leave instead.
I had not looked around in her room in that play-through but that does not seem to be necessary unless you want that dagger.
It would be fun to know how the story unfolds when choosing to "confront her about it"...
I suspect she just gets imprisoned and executed and then you just leave (or become lord?).
I think by talk your way out you mean that you believed her, which leads down a different path ie the one to marriage.... this whole thing has 4 branching outcomes from you being executed, to you fleeing, or you arresting her, or you marrying her (though that is a low virtue path).
