Settings before game start
You can open settings while the game is in progress with Esc, but I didn't see a way of doing it in the opening screen. Did I miss something? I'd like to set resolution etc. before the game starts so I don't have to worry about it later. Also the opening cutscene seems to be unpausable and unskippable. I promise to watch the whole thing every time I do a real playthrough, but sometimes I just want to do a test for graphics settings.

Unfortunately that habit becomes much more common with more and more games , lazy and/or sloppy programming which forces you to interact with the program before you're allowed (if you are lucky) to get to the settings. Gris actually even doesn't allow a complete mute which I never saw before in a game with audio settings.

Thanks for the response, though it's actually been a while now since I played. It does seem odd that devs wouldn't allow for this though. Maybe they want to start the game with a 5 minute cutscene, but if the graphics setting are off then you're not going to see it. It seems like they're choosing to make a bad first impression when it would relatively simple to avoid it.
