Why spoil so many good movies with Ms Movie Buff random conversations?
I didn't care since I had seen all the movies referenced but honestly, what was the point?
It's one thing to have generic descriptions of movies that could be relevant to the "story" of the character but just randomly having her describe one movie after another and purposefully spoil the ending/twist/reveal?

And not just any movies. Memento, Donnie Darko, Soylent Green, The Sixth Sense... I mean... not just movies that happen to have a twist but huge twists

I'm wondering if the references can be opaque enough (and the movies from long enough ago) that it might not "click" with people that haven't seen the movies yet.

And tbh, I didn't think it was a "real" reference until I realize what movie she was talking about. I've only met her once, though.
