How to activate cheat mode
Now I realise some people may say play without cheats but I really want to try them. Every guide I check says to activate cheat mode type in gonzo1982 or 1982gonzo but it doesn't specify where. Do I need to open a console or just type it.

You enter in game mission and press this keys, after you can use cheats.

I tried but it doesn't work for me. Is there any other way to cheat ?

steam version cheats have a slight modification
instead of writing "1982gonzo" or "gonzo1982" you have to write "pyroforever" (without quotes) and then enter the cheats you usually used

Yes it's "pyroforever", but... you have to press and keep pressed ctrl BEFORE entering the code:

1- keep pressed: Ctrl
2- Enter PYROFOREVER
3- Done.

Now you can use:

Shift + X - teleport marked characters to current cursor's position
Shift + Ctrl + N - skip mission
Ctrl + I - invincibility/infinite ammo
Alt + Y - infinite ammo (does not work with bombs)
Shift + V - Enemy Perspective
