18 hours in, and I still haven't even beaten the game on Normal. I've beaten it once, on Easy. I usually play as Gal. Her play style is more my speed. Why do I suck, and how do I overcome this obstacle?

There's a new update for Fight'N Rage on Xbox. It's not brought up on the game's update page on Steam though. What does it do?

Twice now I've been booted back to the start of the game when I decide to take a break during the final section. The whole save state thing only seems to work when it feels like it, and I'm getting sick and tired of not knowing if it's going to work or not....

Which one do you guys think is better. I'm leaning on STR4, but Fight'N Rage also has a lot of good quality's.

There really should be an option to reduce/turn these off. It's way too much. I'm not a fan at all of the HUD's flashing elements, especially the combo counters. Then there's the issue of hit-stop, there is far too much freezing with each hit going on. I did a Shoryuken with Ricardo at a big mob of enemies I was combo'ing and it felt like it took him 10 seconds to get through the full animation of the move because of every single hit stopping the game....
