This game has the stupidest demo of all time
I played it for 30mins and literally did nothing except sit around and or walk around. Showing off the fancy game world is alright in the actual game, but the idea of the demo is to actually showcase the gameplay.

The start of the game is very slow. Honestly the non-gameplay intro is better than the hour and a half of gameplay after in my experience so far anyways.

That may be, I didn't get to experience the actual combat as I couldn't take the exposition any longer. Again, if I was playing the full version of the game I would not mind a long intro, but this is a demo. It's supposed to get to the point quickly so I can experience what the actual gameplay is like.

Demos these days, though Steam is changing that I believe. But they don't really do that anymore, they kinda just do the intro to hype you up so you buy the game.

As for if you're interested in it, obviously Steam has a refund policy of under 2 hours. (but the intro is near 40 minutes long) Otherwise the Xbox Gamepass has it if you wish to pay a cheaper price. Though you are then stuck with that for a month, but you have a library of other games too.

This is exactly the reason why I never trusted demos, and would rather see the whole game ITSELF to make sure the demo wasn't leading me into a false impression. That's what I did with the Detroit Become Human demo.

Actual demo starts at Vavilov complex is around 5-10 minutes long and this is really stupid lol.

Also this could lead to false assumptions when devs make levels with demo in mind like Bungo. They make rich story-driven levels for the demo and all you get after purchase is grindfest in the all the same corridors back and forth. That is shoud be classified as false advertisement

You know ALL demos ever released ... to make this statement?

This demo is a fair amount of story, exploration and combat.

Maybe the 30 seconds reels of nowadays social media kills the attention span...

Well, the demo showcases a lot of utopian prettiness, but its not...very fun?
Instead its slow, tedious and then protagonist...easy on the aggressiveness will you?
Seems like a real tool.
If anything the demo has made me less likely to buy the game, which is helpful I guess.
