For some time now, an eerie silence has surrounded the Grand Engineer Corps camp. The troops are wondering, what is happening inside the fog of war? How do you turn off the Readiness Mechanic?

I've put up with the Readiness System so far as it didn't seem too bad at first. But it's getting ridiculous now where all my armies are stuck in the Red and the AI seems able to just run rings around them. If you try and even get in the way then your army just withdraws along the muddiest most pointless road it can find and camps out in a chicken coop until the AI has finished achieving its objectives.. Best Way to add National Morale to enemy?

My friend is playing this game, I intend on picking it up soon also. He beats the CSA up very badly and they lose National Morale so fast they lose long before 1865. Is there a good way to edit the savegame and increase CSA National Morale?

It's a solid real-time tactics battle and campaign map strategy game but be willing to deal with some bugs and not the greatest AI. This might not appeal to you if you aren't already into the American Civil War. Buy it on sale if you are interested.

Officer Branch Bonuses?

Does anyone know if/how a professional officer's branch bonuses work above the brigade level? For example, if you have an artillery officer commanding a division with infantry brigades and artillery batteries, do the artillery brigades get any/all of the division commanders branch bonus? Same for Corps, army command? If the bonus can be passed down, do the units of the group have to all be the same and only the same, or would it pass them to all units of that type regardless of if the group is mixed? (i.e...

Revised Retreat Settings In Action

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3390052220 I had one of those situations last night where the AI suddenly decides to retreat one of your armies. In this case it was the Department of Pennsylvania (15,997 men) which had been ordered by river boat to Marietta to support the Army of the Ohio to recapture Fort Jenkins. It simply arrived slightly early and then panicked and withdrew to Grafton to restore is order. I have no idea why it panicked, but I suspect it must have got surprised...
