Far too frustrating to earn my recommendation. They Are Billions is worse than bad. It is a good game kneecapped by a developer that doesn’t not respect the player's time. Unfortunate because the underlying game is so solid and has so much potential. It is frustrating to the max to waste 3 hours on a level only to be undone by one simple mistake. Not having saves as a difficulty modifier for making things harder is good. Not giving me the option to mid level save when demanding such a time commitment and while playing on easy? Nah fam, it’s way too disrespectful. I don’t want to spend 2+ hours getting back to the point I made one minor mistake. Like what? This game should be taught in schools as an example of how small decisions have huge consequences. I’m surprised there wasn’t a sequel made. So much potential here. I wish They Are Billions had viable mod support. A few minor tweaks could unlock so much chained potential. I tried modding it but all the files are encrypted and I don't have the skills/knowledge to re-encrypt them in a way that the game can read. Ahhh well, thanks for trying that one guy whose guide I tried to follow.
