Question regarding Kumasawa and the stake of Envy

So I was going through some of my "why is this a thing" notes from Umineko and it reminded me of a question:

Why on earth was Kumasawa staked by Leviathan/the stake of Envy in both EP1 and 2? I can't think of anything related to her that connects with a sin of envy in any way? Or am completely forgetting something?

The closest thing I can think of/theorise would be that she might have some envy in regards to agency? There are... 1 or 2 scenes in EP1 where she internally comments about not being able to do anything but watch from the shadows as things happens and other characters suffers. But that's the only thing I can think of........

Symbolism is good. But sometimes you have to be pragmatic. There are some rare lines that could suggests Kumasawa is jeleaous of someone like her introduction in EP1.

Huh....... I don't recall there being any implications like that..... What lines or pert of the conversation are you reffering to? (Genuine question, I've been scratching my head about this question for a while.)

Of course I refered to the "murder", not about the symbolism. I cannot say for sure that the stake objects are used on people who matches them. Beelzebub, sin of Gluttony, doesn't really match with Gohda, because he isn't a fat man like Hideyoshi. Another example that symbolism is somethimes ommited are the killings in Alliance: The stakes were only buried in the head wounds.

Here the conversation:
EP1. Scene is Nijima harbour. The women are joking about Rudolph. Hideyoshi said he's popular with the ladies.
Kumasawa: ""Hohohoh! As usual, you're popular enough to make me jealous. Well then, everyone, shall we head over to the boat?"
