Unable to start the game

OOTP found that the crashed on startup flag is set.Obviously the game crashed when you started it last time.OOTP will reset the graphics settings to default values.You can set them back later in the Game Preferences dialog.
And
not open target folder to install game data.Please uninstall and reinstall Out of the Park Baseball

I'm with you.I wrote email to the support team,but their solution didn't work

I run Linux Mint 20. I found something that worked for me. I installed the flatpak version of Steam from flathub. This game (OOTP21) works perfectly. Took me three weeks to figure this out. The hell of it is, out of my two dozen plus Steam games, only OOTP21 did not work after I upgraded to Linux Mint 20.
