There's an experience system with a big net of things to unlock and some light randomized loot that can also be upgraded with runes. There's also a new game+ mode that you can play at a higher difficulty. The systems are not as in depth as the Diablo series, it's more of a numbers go up kind of thing.

There's a few achievements using those systems that are kinda grindy too.
