It would probably be a good idea to either sticky this or another topic on the subject, or to create a sub-forum dedicated to bugs. That way you have them all in one place.

My two so far;

1) I entered a very small room where a grate came down behind me. Slayed the single monster therein, but the gate would not open. I searched all over to see if I'd missed anything but it did not appear so. Trapped!

2) I could not find my way out of a certain part but there had to be one as I had not discovered the ladder to the next level yet. Finally I found one of those spools that you need to spin with LMB to open something up. Problem was it never stopped the spin. That includes after letting go; it just spun back infinitly. Trapped! :)

Thank you. I guess I could pin this thread.

For rooms that close behind you and don't seem to open up there should be a failsafe in place that opens them after 3 minutes or so. Doesn't mean I won't look into that of course. The other thing is new to me. Checking that out too.

If restarting the game didn't help I think that character must be broken. Could you email me an output_log.txt of a session where you try drawing the weapon to carlos@slasherskeep.info? It should be in Steam\steamapps\common\slasher's keep\slasherskeep_data

Sometimes after opening inventory, or that box to drop weapons down to floor 10 (which is inventory too i guess) i cant close it and do anything but inventory stuff (drop, use) it's just stuck and doesnt react to any buttons. Also are those moths flying over the abyss ureachable on purpose?

I've manage to find another bug where the game break the geometry and makes it impossible to continue, uploaded the screenshots to steam cloud. (note, i am on the beta branch)

I'm spending time in beta today. So far, two things.

1) As someone else reported, mana regen simply does not work. I saw your post about being out of combat; heck, I sheathed my weapon and just stood there for a while. Nothing.

2) When I died, I did appreciate the new message that says what I've lost. However, as I've gone forward I've been trying to build a balanced character with no skill more than one point better than anything else. On repsawn; my stats were 6/7/3! Seems like all of the penalty came from one place! I think this will really disturb character builds.

Also, not sure whether this is intended or not, but throwing things in the item chute seems to affect what else you get. I'd say I average three items in the starting chest but with three crafting items I'd tossed I only got those and a single weapon after respawn.

I've found another exploit, if you use an invincibility potion and then open the inventory, the potion timer pauses, making you invincible for as long as the inventory is open, combining this with thorns allows you to tank anything and kill it. Moreover, It seems traps dont harm you at all while the inventory is open. (at least the floor spikes dont)

I can also confirm that Mana does not regenerate, even with the "Blue Blooded" perk.

More assets blocking off routes.

Additionally, the following room always locks you in, with an enemy on the top balcony, you cannot kill the enemy except for glitching through the floor, which is not as intended I think.

Another Bug: After finishing the game once, and then restarting my character has increased speed for some reason. This sometimes increases without reason, and makes the game almost unplayable, im unsure what causes this speed increase though.

*EDIT* I'm Pretty sure the Bloodlust skill is to be blamed for this extreme speed increase, getting it past 10 not only breaks the kill streak timer, but also your speed apparently.

Not a big deal, but I randomly started a new permadeath char and I started at the trapdoor instead of in the cell. Only happened once so far. And once the starting chest wouldn't sparkle or open.

Try using a wand or retreating for the moths, they will come after you if you move away enough.

Running the experimental patch, saved at a Save point on floor 9 ( had just cleared it ) . Logged back in, still on floor 9 with zero gear. Equipped and Inventory empty.
