The on-screen tips tell me what each button on the controller does, but each button on the controller behaves differently than what the screen says, which just caused my loathable party of two to wander, from the world-map view, way out into a desert because "cancel" behaves like "go to that place way out it in the desert."

None of my other Steam games misbehave this way and i've tried swapping the input mode on the controll (Logitech F310). There appears to be no way to manually configure the non-keyboard controls, but perhaps there's a back door? Config file? Something? Anything? Bueller?
