I've got the same problem! I played Episode 1 and 2 without ANY Problems and now the game decided to just not show up anymore... It's quite strange because the music plays and I can even navigate through the menu but I can't see it. I already tried to fix it by re-installing gfx Drivers but that didn't fix it. If it's somehow relevant and could help solve the Problem: my gfx Card is a GeForce GT 730M.

I have the same problem, I just get a black screen, the steam pop up or whatever you call it comes up in the corner but that’s basically everything that happens.
I can’t use the mouse either, it just doesn’t exist, it’s basically locked somewhere.
I’ve tried deleting the game and downloading it again with no luck.
But it worked yesterday(barely, lag was shown a lot) but it started at least.
I literally bought the game like two days ago and it sucks that I can’t play it because of this.
But if anyone finds a solution, that would be great.

Mine just crashes immediately. New behavior. I don't THINK anything has changed on my system since I last played it about a week ago.

Maybe deck nine decided that cutting MOST of the content from episode 3 wasn't enough and they decided to cut the whole game.

Same problem here! I bought the game during the sale, so i haven't been able to play it at all. I also have this problem with a number of other games on my account (Sherlock Holmes, Kitty Powers match maker) which have worked before! Maybe this has something to do with the new Windows 10 update?

Reinstall the game to the new library on another drive (+20 gb disk space; make sure that this folder is not read-only).

Hey there! I tried everything and noticed that the game resets the registry values for both height and width to 0 when starting the game, even after deleting the prefdata.save. Only thing that's left now is installing the game to another location/library, which I'd like to avoid because my hard drive is rather full :D

I did exactly as you said but upon running the values are ALL set back to 0. Do I need to "save" them somewhere manually or what am I missing
