Our son was only 14 when he was diagnosed with Lukemia. The journey was long, filled with treatments, surgeries, and countless nights where we watched him battle not just the disease, but the overwhelming fear and loneliness that came with it.

But there was one thing that brought him back to life in those dark moments: Helldivers 2.

He found it during one of his hospital stays, and at first, it was just something to pass the time. But soon, it became more. As he played, he would tell us about his missions—how his squad worked together, how they fought back against impossible odds. We saw him light up with excitement, a spark of joy we hadn’t seen in a long time. The game gave him a sense of purpose, a chance to be a hero, even when he couldn’t be one in his own life. For hours, he’d immerse himself in that world, and for a while, the pain seemed to fade.

Sadly, he lost his battle. But those moments, those hours spent with Helldivers 2, were some of the happiest of his final months. We know that, for him, it wasn’t just a game. It was a source of strength. A way to feel like he was in control when so much of his life had been taken from him.

To the creators of Helldivers 2: Thank you. You gave our son a little piece of light when everything else felt so heavy. You gave him a way to feel like he could fight back, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Superpancakes is very easy and very tasty. They're perfect dish for the breakfast and go with almost anything.

• 210 g. of supermilk
  
• 1 pc. superegg
  
• 200 g. superflour
  
• 5 g. super baking powder
  
• 25 g. superoil
  
• 30 g. supersugar
  
• ~3 g. supersalt

With the listed amount of sugar the pancakes won't be very sweet and will go great with
some sweet superjams or superpastes. If you want them sweet by themselves just add
more supersugar

To the democratic volume where we're going to make superbatter crack one superegg, add supersugar and supersalt. Mix it with supermixer until homogeneous. Then add supermilk and after that superoil. Give it a democratic mix!

Now let's prepare superflour. Sieve it to another democratic volume and mix it with super baking powder. It's upmost important to mix it in superflour, and it's advised to use eagle-grade whisk.

Add superflour into the democratic volume with superbatter. Mix until homogeneous, but work quickly, democracy never waits, and so does the batter. Test the liquid properties of your batter, it should be very flowy.

Next up is to bake the superpancakes. Prepare your democratic pan. You can bake without oil, but I prefer to give the pan a swipe with a lightly oiled supertissue to give it a thin coat. Put the democratic pan on medium heat, and wait until it's properly heated. Pour your superbatter in the middle of your future pancake, it will spread evenly that way, like the managed democracy across the galaxy! When the upper surface will start bubbling, the superpancake is ready to be flipped.

If you heated your pan correctly, when bubbling starts, the bottom side of the
superpancake should be baked already. If it isn't the case and your pancakes burn, lower
the heat. Otherwise if it's underbaked, pump it up a little! And remember to wait until your
pan in fully heated.

Here you go! Your superpancakes are ready to be eaten. Try them with anything you like. Jams, nuts, bug juice, robot oil, blood of our enemies, the world is your oyster! Have a great meal and may democracy prevail!
