I would first check and clean your PC because your PC getting loud by running a game can be a worrying sign (especially when I saw nobody post this in the 6 years I've been in this forum)

Be aware that doing any of the following might make the game look like dogshiii, so take screenshots of your settings if you made any custom settings in case you want to revert anything

If you cleaned your PC and it still gets loud, check all the options that mention the "GPU" as the game is really heavy on that (even in the lobby V2 takes 70% of my GPU, more than any other game)
I would also advise to open the Task Manager (just type "task manager" in the windows search to find it) and look at what is going up while V2 is open, aka compare to before it opens and after you loaded into the hub to tinker more precisely to what your PC may struggle with

You can also screw around with the option AMD FidelityFX super resolution (for me "quality" gives the best results, no idea why) and Nvidia reflext low latency (for me got "enabled + boost" on and capped at 60fps as I dont need more)
See what combination is best for your PC because in my experience it is totally random because you'd think "less resolution = PC works less" but apparently that isnt the case (at least for my PC)

And if the above hasnt helped still, you can use this guide to know where to edit the configs of the game inside the files to turn it to values you couldnt get in-game so you get better performance

I think it's affected by "particles" section (named something like that).

yeah def not my pc i just cleaned it out a couple days ago and reapplied thermal paste, i did have to turn down a lotta settings.
If you computer is powerful enough, you could be pushing more frames than you actually need which will cause your machine to sound like a leaf blower. Being as how Vermintide 2 is several years old, this maybe the case. I use AMD so not sure of nVidia, but I use target frame rate control to limit the frames allowed. Or you can use the max frames in game setting if there is one in Vermintide 2. I dont remember and cant boot up the game now. I set mine to 2 or 3 below my monitors max refresh and that cut the leaf blower down quite a bit.

Hope this helps

Disabling bloom is possibly helping too.
