RAGE 2's second DLC, TerrorMania, is available now! In this expansion, you'll be exploring a twisted alternate version of the Wasteland, and will have to fight through hordes of skeletal armies. Armed with a brand-new legendary weapon, the Sword of Transitus, you'll have to escape the Deadlands by completing a special mission. Sound like fun?

TerrorMania FAQ

• The DLC can be started by entering and exiting any trade town. The player will then receive a call from Mangoo to start the DLC.
- If the player also has DLC1 and hasn’t triggered the call for that yet, that call will trigger first.
They’ll have to enter and exit the town again to trigger DLC2 in that case.

• There is one new weapon in the DLC – The Sword of Transitus.
- Upgrades for the sword are granted after clearing Bone Towers. There’s no other way to get
upgrades for the sword.
- The sword can be used outside of the DLC.

• Once the player gets past the initial scene in TerrorMania, gets the sword, and receives the objectives to enter the bone towers, they can leave and re-enter the DLC at will from the record player in the cabin.

• The initial bone towers can be done in any order.
-The towers can be replayed only when the entirety of the DLC has been completed.

RAGE 2's first DLC has arrived! You can find everything you need to know right here, in the official FAQ for Rise of the Ghosts. If you have any additional questions, let us know!

How to access the Rise Of The Ghosts DLC:

• Players must be signed into a Bethesda.net account with Rise Of The Ghosts entitlements.

• The DLC can be accessed as soon as the player has completed “The Ranger” mission and visits any of the trade towns in the main game. The player will receive a radio call when leaving any trade town, which marks the location of the ark that starts the first mission for the DLC. Completing the “Captive” mission will give the player full access to the Overgrown City region.

• Once the player has visited the “Metro Station” location and talked to Keenan Ford, they will be able to fast travel to the location like any other trade town in the game. There is also an access point in Metro Station that allows the player to manually travel between Overgrown City and the mainland.

New weapons / powers / items:

• “Void” Power: Received from completing the “Bendring Ark” location.

• “Feltrite Laser Launcher” weapon: Received from completing the “Recondite Ark” location.

• “Shock Grenades” support item: Can be picked up at various location in Overgrown city. Upgrade blueprints can be purchased from various vendors / vending machines around Overgrown City.

Known Issues

• Title crashes on XB1/PS4 when game install completes while sitting at the main menu:

Requires the player to be running the game while it’s installing, but does not crash if the player is in gameplay when the install completes.

• Autopilot occasionally gets stuck navigating to locations:

If the autopiloted vehicle is having trouble navigating to a location, players can manually pilot the vehicle back to a main road, at which point the autopilot should continue its intended path to the player’s destination.

• Ghost enemies occasionally get stuck inside inaccessible locations:

Players can use grenades or powers such as slam to damage enemies in inaccessible location, like behind a wall.

• Some undiscovered locations marked with a “?” are empty and can’t be discovered by visiting them:

Some of the supply drop locations are marked on the map with a “?”, but will not populate until the player completes a nearby Antenna activity location.

RAGE 2's Update 2 is coming TODAY, July 25. The update features several game improvements based on your feedback, including a New Game+ mode, added flashlight for making those darker areas easier to navigate, and more!

Here's a look at what’s coming in our new game update:


New Game +
New Game + is something a lot of players have been asking for, and the team at Avalanche has gone all out for it. Now, when you finish the Project Dagger storyline and complete all of the Arks, you’ll be able to load up New Game +. This will carry over all your weapons, abilities, upgrades, and vehicles, and there will be a little surprise waiting for you when you revisit the Arks in your new playthrough. (Spoiler alert: It’s awesome skins for your weapons.) In addition, you’ll gain prestige badges when you play through the game multiple times, and the difficulty will increase with each additional playthrough.

Ironman Mode
Everyone knows Ironman Mode. You die, you lose. Sound tough? Nah. You got this. We believe in you! (Don’t worry, using your Defibrillator doesn’t count as dying.)

Ultra Nightmare Difficulty
When we talked to one of RAGE 2’s producers about Ultra Nightmare difficulty, he just said it was “crazy hard” and stared off into the distance with a haunted look in his eyes. It’s probably fine, though.

Twitch Bounties
If you stream RAGE 2 on Twitch, you might end up seeing some familiar names popping up on bounty boards throughout the game. Viewers of your stream will be included in the pool of wanted criminals for you to hunt down.

New Wasteland Wizard Cheats

• Dash Ragdoll: Become even more of a living weapon with the Dash Ragdoll Cheat. When you hit Dash you’ll lose all control of your limbs, literally transforming you into a ragdoll as your hurtle toward unsuspecting (and rightfully confused) enemies, instantly killing anyone in your path.
  
  
• Super Knockback: You know in anime when the hero punches someone and they fly off into the stratosphere? That could be you with the Super Knockback Cheat. All your melee strikes are amplified to the nth degree so just wind up and watch your enemies fly.

Quality of Life Improvements

• Pop-up notifications no longer pause the game
  
• Camera Deadzone slider adjustment added to controller options
  
• Flashlight added for navigating dark areas (hold Focus to activate)
  
• You can now skip Aunt Prowley’s dialog in the opening mission
  
• Added an option to disable Ark tutorials
  
• Tracking projects now shows progress on HUD
  
• New options to turn off Damage and Kill notifications on crosshair
  
• “You Call That a Wingstick?” and TV Fatal voice packs auto-granted after Bethesda.net account link (previously required buying from Wasteland Wizard)

Bug Fixes

• ChazCar vehicle no longer misaligns Walker through the chassis when at an angle
  
• Fixed an issue where you could not fast travel to Kvasir’s lab when there was an objective marker on the location
  
• Fixed an issue where combat music did not play correctly when playing through “The Ranger” mission
  
• Fixed an issue where the Prowley hologram subtitles did not match VO dialog in Japanese
  
• Fixed an issue where you could get stuck attempting to access Authority HQ prior to Project Dagger
  
• Fixed an issue where bullet decals and blood stopped appearing in the game world after long fights
  
• Fixed an issue where the game may freeze while navigating the Phoenix weapon upgrades menu

Update 2 is coming July 25 with 3 new ways to play: New Game +, Ironman Mode, and Ultra-Nightmare difficulty.

FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

• Bandit Camps are now replayable! Open your map and select any previously cleared bandit camp to replay them as much as you'd like -- and get rewarded.
  
• New Wasteland Wizard Cheat Codes: Low Gravity, Bloody Mess, Phoenix Rejector Seat, Klegg Support. Find Cheat Codes from the Wasteland Wizard and activate the new cheats in the ‘settings’ menu.
  
• New Voice Packs added! Ozzy Man Reviews "You Call That a Wingstick?" and German “TV Fatal”. Activate the new voice packs in the ‘settings’ menu.
  
• Wasteland Wizard now only travels to 3 different locations instead of 15.
  
• Menu optimization improved to address slowdown issues.
  
• Crate Improvements! Improved melee hit detection and increased visibility at night.
  
• Improved sharpness on high-res screens to reduce “blurriness”.
  
• Adjusted the day/night cycle. (Previously, the day time moved too slow, night time lasted too long).
  
• Digital Deluxe Upgrade now available in the in-game Store.
  
• Bethesda.net Friend Leaderboards now available for Mutant Bash TV.

• Fixed an issue where the PS4 version of the game would hang on the legal screens when attempting to boot the title without a network connection.
  
• Fixed an issue where PC players could not access friends, statistics, or the store.
  
• Fixed a PC crash that could occur when exiting to the desktop.
  
• Fixed a crash that occurred when the player hovered their mouse over a location icon in the map.
  
• Fixed a crash that occurred when the player was using the Icarus.
  
• Fixed an issue where the title crashed when launching the game using minimum spec hardware.
  
• Fixed a crash that occurred when skipping Prowley's cutscenes.

USER INTERFACE

• Fixed an issue where debug text and symbols were visible in the Settings menu.
  
• Fixed an issue where debug text was visible in Reticle Style settings.
  
• Fixed an issue where multiple UI elements were in slow motion.
  
• Fixed an issue where magazine weapon upgrades text will remain showing on incorrect weapons and after closing menu.

AUDIO & LOCALIZATION

• Fixed an issue where character voice lines may infrequently fail to play.
  
• Fixed an issue where dialogue lines occasionally do not play any VO or cut off early.
  
• Fixed an issue where battle music no longer played after the completion of Blackout.
  
• Fixed an issue where music was missing at Winner's Lounge.
  
• Fixed an issue where no SFX played when unlocking ability levels or ability perks in the Nanotrites menu.

• Now possible to change key bindings for the Defibrillation mini-game (previously, it defaulted to WASD).
  
• Fixed an issue where Dr. Kvasir's dialogue prompt did not work from certain angles
  
• Fixed several portions of ChazCar where some areas of the course do not teleport the player back to track
  
• Fixed an issue where the Nicholas Raine armor would always be seen on the player
  
• Fixed an issue where signing out after resuming from a suspended state would allow the player to stay in the game, which would corrupt all saves.
