1.) Everything crafted by a human is related to "real world" things, events and thoughts.
You cant imagine something that you havent experienced before. Thats impossible for the human mind, so ofcourse fictional universes are related in every way to our real world as you can juts combine things you know.
2.) What you believe is just actual events already has happened several times in history, so it doesnt matter.
Just because right now it might be relevant must not mean it hasnt been before.
You shouldnt draw too strong connections where they arent.
Let alone give them more importance than necessary.
