When I click play on the main game, the main menu simply does not appear. However, when I choose the hardcore DLC, the main menu does appear. Anybody know how to fix this?

When clicking on the main game, I only get a grey screen. This issue seems to only happen on my account as logging into a different account on the same computer launches the main game just fine. Does anyone know if there's a fix to this issue?

Having summarized my previous experience on solving game errors, I came to the conclusion that in 99% of the cases such errors are caused by save files.
