Empire Apart Back Screen HELP
This is April 15th 2019 so I think this problem is pretty new for me. Whenever I press the start button from the Empire Apart Launcher, it kinda starts the game, except everything is pitch black. Some people say that is is my computer problem, and it probably doesn't meet the requirements. However, I am pretty sure if my computer can support Ancestor Legacy Ultra Settings, then it can withstand the graphix of empire apart. So please help. Also I tried to do the thing where you go to impero/binaries/win64 to delete the files they told me to, except it ain't there. I want to play the game but its just pitch black. I know the game itself is running and generating the black screen cuz there is no sound or anything that tells me the game itself is running but the screen is dark. TO SUM IT UP! DARK SCREEN FREEZE, NOT GRAPHICAL PROBLEM, THE FILE THAT SUPPORT TOLD ME TO DELETE? NOT THERE, I NEED MORE SOLUTIONS! Please help I JUST WANT TO PLAY :cozyfallout4:

Ok, so: if your pc has enought power, you can try to:
- open %localappdata%/Impero/Saved and delete the "config" folder
- launch it and give it time (the first launch can take a bit).

1. I don't exactly know how to access that.
2. I need a backup plan. Not doubting THE DEVELOPER but just in case ya know

Just copy and paste:

%localappdata%/Impero/Saved

to the Windows Search Box and press Enter key.

That folder just contains live-generated config files, no need to backup it.

Another way to access that folder is pressing "open data folder" in the launcher

thanks I haven't tried it out yet but I found the folder and I have deleted it.
I will mark your posts the answer once it works. Thanks both of you. I appreciate that the developers actually care about people's comments, and not the community having to save their backsides.

Answered you in the other thread you opened.

Just for reference:
"You can already unlock factions for free, with playtime.
Inside crates, you will find (along with aesthetics) civ fragments.
2 of them can be consumed to have another chest, while 4 can be forged to permanently unlock a civ (using the third button on the civ screen)."

Hi! I also have a similar problem currently, I press Play Game and then the screen stays Black, I can barely see Authenticating at the bottom right corner and then it closes and Im back to the small window and If I press Play Game again the same happens, goes to a black screen with only authenticating on the corner for a few seconds, then closes again.

This is only happening with my Laptop is an MSI Pulse GL66. It works fine on my Windows 10 Desktop but not in this Laptop with Windows 11, Im not sure if its hardware or software related.

And I already tried removing the config folder and also reinstalling multiple times... :steamsad:

Please help :steamsad:
