Can't change resolution.

If I pick fullscreen or borderless window my game is always 720p even after a restart. Even if I pick 1080p it's always 720p. I want to change to 4k.

I went into GameUserSettings.ini and it shows 4k. I went into WindowsEngine.ini and changed that entry to 4k and nothing.

I did see a post from someone saying 4k was not incorporated into the game but surely this can't be the case. This is the ARK engine and it did 4k also.

ARK is also based on the Unreal 4 Engine yes, a later version these days.
I.e. ARK got 4K support when 4K became mainstream and UE4 started to support it.
Sometime after DnL development had ground to a halt.

Does your monitor support 2K resolutions?
Use one of those. Game will let you choose engine supported resolutions that match your monitor's EDID info ones.

Hi Lani. Yes it was your post I saw about resolution when I searched for this issue. My TV is an LG C2 42" It supports 4k. My EDID shows 4k via CRU.

I'm using latest Nvidia drivers for my 4090.

Hmmm, the EDID doesn't show any 2K resolutions?
TV's are less versatile than monitors when it comes to resolutions but I would expect one to at least be backwards compatible with traditional TV resolutions.

My TV does 720, 1080, 1440 and 4k. What I'm saying is that no matter what resolution I pick and pick fullscreen, the resolution never changes regardless. But yes, 1440p does work in other games.
