So despite the ordeal with cloud saves, and while there is a work around. If you're planning to play this strictly on a select device whether it be on a computer/laptop or a steamdeck/Rog/Legion/Etc it plays perfectly well. The issue with that comes from those who wish to play on their computers and then move to a portable device. Other than that 9.5/10 Solid port, finished it 100% no issues anywhere, and i'll say this for those struggling with the Bike missions, all the Playstations input bugs still work.

This trilogy is really good, I am very impressed with Yuri Lowenthal voicing Haseo. Without him i don't think this game would be a big hit. The story is rich and side characters are really cool. The only bad thing is this game is a bit grindy, you don't have the option to go around enemy's to not fight them and are forced to go into a battle; but other than that this game is pretty fun and I would highly recommend if you haven't played this game before. I wish the other Dot hack (Infection, redemption, outbreak, and quarantine.) series becomes available with some improvements such as quick cast spells and abilities.

Yes, i recomend this game, its old but very good, i remember playing it at the time. Althought if you don't like large cut scenes, i'm sorry for you but this game has a lot of those, but its part of the story of the game and that's what makes it good.

Excellent title. The bloom, shadow, and general lighting effects they implemented for this edition honestly have been immense improvement on an already beautiful game.

I really wish they would remaster and fine-tune the original series and still loop in the save data transfer between the titles (and done it before this came out), but it's still definitely a worthwhile game and a wonderful addition to your collection.

Admittedly, I'm not into anime generally, but this is an excellent game series. If you aren't into the visuals or the anime aesthetic, you likely wouldn't have clicked on the page, nor read this review, but if you did, be glad you did, and push through it and enjoy the ride. I did back in the mid-2000s, did it again as I've played through this, and I'd do it again, too. Great games can override certain aesthetic choices, and this is a great example of that.

Once you get past needing to adjust graphics and systems settings in order to stop fps drops, this game is a lot of fun to play.
I hope they do something similar with the series origins.
