I purchased this old game, but the screen is not showing anything, but the sound is on. I already changed the settings to minimum, but it did not change the black screen. What should I do?

Has anyone else experienced this with any of their older games? I click the "Play" button in the Steam client, but I see a popup soon afterward saying "Corrupted installation; please reinstall from original CD." Despite this, I can still play the games with this apparent issue by going into their files and running them as administrator....

1) Set compatibility to Windows XP sp3 to the file convoy.exe in the game folder. No need to run as admin. Optional Step You may have to use older GPU drivers as this game is old.

I bought a the game 18 Wheels of Steel: Convoy I downloaded it but it will not play I have WINDOWS 10 and that is what it is calling for. So can you help me?
