great game, just needed diplomacy

Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War - Got this from Humble Choice bundle back in 2020 for 11,99€ including eight other games from the bundle, just so you know my point of view that i am reviewing this from.

From what i remember- I enjoyed thoroughly the campaigns for the base factions, i loved that they all had a story which gave some background to everything happening & objectives to give you something to aim for. As someone who has always had a hard time sticking to a 4x games because of the maaany systems, possible goals or win conditions and feeling just overwhelmed in the end i think this was super fun for being just about war.

I like it. It's not revolutionary or extraordinary but it's dumb strategy fun. Can't compare it to other 4X or strategy games in general since they're not usually my cup of tea but as a standalone game it's not bad at all.
Lots of variety in factions and play-styles. Very fun to play with an audiobook in the background.
Probably a 6.5/10 for me.
